Will Community Credit Counseling accept my personal check and where do I send my payment? Sorry, payments must be made with a money order or bank certified check. We cannot accept personal checks. If you send a personal check, it will be returned to you. Please make sure that you reference your client number on the front of the bank certified check or money order. Remember, your account number is made up of the first 3 letters of your last name and the last 6 digits of your social security number.
